The All-on-4® (or ProArch) treatment concept is a revolutionary approach to full-arch dental rehabilitation. It's designed for individuals who have lost most or all of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth are failing. The process allows for a complete smile transformation, often in a single day.

A brief overview…

THE 'BEFORE': A FAILING SMILE

Patients typically present with significant dental issues: widespread decay, gum disease, missing teeth, or ill-fitting dentures. This can lead to difficulty eating, speaking, and a lack of confidence.

STRATEGIC IMPLANT PLACEMENT

The core of the All-on-4® concept involves the strategic placement of four dental implants in the jawbone.

Anterior Implants: Two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw.
Posterior Implants: Two implants are placed at an angle (up to 45 degrees) in the back of the jaw. This angulation avoids vital anatomical structures (like sinuses in the upper jaw and nerves in the lower jaw) and allows for longer implants, maximising contact with the existing bone.

IMMEDIATE FUNCTION (Chair-side conversion)

This is where the "magic" happens. On the same day the implants are placed, a temporary, but fully functional, set of teeth is attached to these new implants. This is often referred to as a "chair-side conversion."

BEFORE

The patient arrives with compromised teeth or an edentulous (toothless) arch.

AFTER (Immediate Chair-Side Conversion)

After implant placement and the attachment of a provisional prosthesis, the patient leaves with a full, functional, and aesthetically pleasing set of teeth on the same day.
